For most IT professionals, the Elastic Stack combination is familiar. Elasticsearch, the heart of the stack, plays the role of a search and analytics database, while Logstash serves the server-side data processing pipeline to ingest data. Then Kibana is used to visualize all this data. But the world is not always about the Elastic Stack. With the importance of data increasing rapidly in all businesses, many companies have implemented BI (Business Intelligence) infrastructures to suit their needs to mature their data analysis. One of the well-known products in business intelligence is Microsoft Power BI.
In this session, I will show how the data stored in Elasticsearch can be visualized using Microsoft Power BI instead of Kibana. One of the benefits of this combination is that if you are using Microsoft Power BI as your BI infrastructure, you can easily integrate this infrastructure with Elastic data sources and visualize your entire organization's data in the form of a centralized dashboard.
